Why would they add this? So leechers and get faction that much easier?
Pretty much pointless and stupid.

With Ctr/Alt you're not going to be invisible so it's really kinda pointless unless you wanna be invisible for Ctrl/Alt and radar and then it would be pretty imba.

Yes it would be great because im pretty sure they would be losing badly.
It would also annoy me enough to rageQ the game if they were on my team.

first thought that came to me when I see the title is "but why?" so I read your post and still the question "but why?"
if you could have give a more detail explanation as to why this is good to add into the game, I'll signed it, otherwise its "but why?"
if you /sit and it hide you from the radar in AB, you are going to give a lot of leechers lots more reasons to leech now that they can run out of the base and go /sit and hide somewhere and you wouldn't even know who's leeching who's really fighting.
if your intention is to hide from your foe, you can always run out of their radar and they can't see you on the map anymore, if you are within their radar, even if you are hidding from the radar, the close range that you are in is still visible off the radar. and you can't sneak cos then you'll have to be not /sit anymore.
see.

It's an ambush!
kinda sounds cool...an assassin could hide in a bush in gvg, and surprise the flag runner.
I havent really thought about all the situations this would affect, ....but i do think people would find a way to make this unbalanced.
one example: a player in RA could run off and hide...making the match go on longer than needed and doesnt add to competition or fun for the teams.
so...not signed but it would be fun to try for a day =)

Using ctrl/alt will spot you, so makes it kinda useless. If you were invisible to ctrl/alt, then that would lead to griefers. Sure, it'd be cool to ambush and jump out at people when they're moving past, but what happens if you wipe a team except for one guy. And he runs off to the furtherest corners of the arena's and hides. Every match would then drag on till time out? No thanks.

I am actually using the /sit command pretty often in PvP. For quite a time even
It has no chat message linked to the emote. So on a Interrupt/Damage Ranger I tend to run forth and /sit + cancel at chokepoints. You would be surprised how many ppl suddenly start to c+space wand you (especially casters) thinking you are a trapper. Gives my team at least 2-4 seconds time to set real traps/prepare spikes or whatever you want to do before the surprising moment is over. 2-4 seconds is a lot of time actually. I hope I am not the only one doing this or I'd feel pretty stupid . I know it sounds stupid but thanks to several FOTMs a lot of ppl watch for trappper-like animations on a Ranger.

I don't see any positives with implementing this, and my first though was people wanting to be invisible to make it harder to report them for leeching.

Yeah, and when you use the Zaishen emote it should actually hit the oponent with a hammer, sword and spear strike, won't it?
Please... the first part of making a suggestion is thinking about it...
I could agree with making it give extra regen, in exchange for armor (something in the lines of +1HP and E regen, -20 armor), but nothing else.
